What is Pet Wee AWAY?
Pet wee AWAY is a natural, non-toxic, biological stain and odour digester that effectively removes pet urine from all types of surfaces and fabrics.
Is Pet Wee AWAY safe for my pet?
Yes, Pet wee AWAY is a non-toxic cleaner, but purely as a precaution we recommend that all pets should be kept clear of the cleaned area for at least 15-20 minutes after cleaning.
How exactly does it work?
Pet wee AWAY contains micro-organisms that produce enzymes that degrade, or eat away at all types of organic soiling including pet urine.
Why should I use Pet wee AWAY instead of other urine removers?
Unlike many cleaners, Pet wee AWAY works by permanently eradicating the source of the soiling. It is non-toxic, biodegradable and is not harmful to the environment and is an extremely cost-effective solution to removing pet wee stains and smells.
Will it remove dried in wee stains?
Yes, Pet wee AWAY works on all urine stains, old or new, one customer recently reported that Pet wee AWAY had eradicated three year old wee stains and smells from her carpet. The age of the stain is irrelevant, as soon as the activated solution comes into contact with the urine; the biological action literally eats away at the urine lifting it from the fibres.
How much should I use?
We recommend that 2L when diluted to make 4L of activated solution will clear an area of new or old pet wee stains and smells in an average size room (5L²). Concrete or back yards may require more solution; we recommend the 5L size, as these areas are porous and absorb more urine and thus solution.
Is Pet wee AWAY ready to use?
No. Pet wee AWAY is a concentrated solution and must be diluted with water on a (1:1) 1 part Pet wee AWAY, 1 part water basis. Regular cleaning of pet areas can be carried out on a (1:20) 1 part Pet wee AWAY to 20 parts water basis.
Would it be better to use Pet wee AWAY in its concentrated format for really stained areas?
No, Pet wee AWAY must be diluted with water to activate; otherwise the biological action can not commence.
Why is Pet wee AWAY not available already mixed with water?
Simply because once diluted with water, Pet wee AWAY must be used within 3-4 hours, so supplying Pet wee AWAY in this format would expire the product, providing the product in its concentrated format allows our customers to dilute and use as and when required.
Is it safe to use on real wood flooring?
Yes Pet wee AWAY is suitable for usage on all surfaces where pets have urinated including real wood flooring, laminate flooring and floorboards.
Will it remove pet sick and faeces as well as urine?
Yes, Pet wee AWAY removes the stains and smells associated with all types of ‘organic soiling’ such as urine, blood, vomit, faeces etc. Traditional cleaners struggle to eliminate the often pungent odour associated with ‘organic soling’, with many products only masking the smell, Pet wee AWAY will eradicate them.
I have a urine stain and odour where I have used other products unsuccessfully, will Pet wee AWAY still work?
Pet wee AWAY is effective at removing smells and stains even where other products have been used previously, we do recommend in this instance that a repeat application is used so that the first application concentrates on extracting the residue left by other cleaning agents and the second application can concentrate on removing the urine which the other products had been masking.
How long does it take to work?
If the urine smell or stain is recent (less than 1hr), simply activate the solution, clean the area and allow to dry. If the problem area is slightly older, we recommend covering the area with a tea towel or cotton sheet for 2 hours after cleaning then allow to dry. If the problem area is 1 month or older cover the area for 24 hours then allow to dry. The purpose of covering the affected area is to allow the biological action to continue.
Will it stop my pet from marking the area again?
Using Pet wee AWAY regularly deters pets from territorial marking; the enzymes are so effective that the traces of urine are removed so that they are no longer traceable by the pet.
Can I use Pet wee AWAY in carpet cleaning machines?
Pet wee AWAY is a foaming solution when in its concentrate format and therefore may not be suitable for all types of carpet cleaning machines. Usage in carpet cleaning machines is at the discretion of the customer.
Is it expensive?
Urine removal products are sold at differing prices. The formulation of Pet wee AWAY is specialised and extremely effective on urine stains and odours. Some competing products make proud statements about their effectiveness but quite simply we don’t think you’ll find a better concentrated product at a better price.
Does Pet wee Away have a fragrance?
Yes it contains a pleasant floral perfume that immediately blocks any unpleasant odour whilst the solution gets to work on removing the offending smells and stains.
